This turned out to be a very poorly attended meeting due to the fact that it fell very closely between the Eurochamps, the Barkston Mini Nats and the Piennes international which several teams were planning to attend.
There would have been an extra team had Miles/Yeldham not managed to write two models off due to a line breakage in practice followed by a collision on landing also in practice.
Excellent times were recorded in the heats, however, by both Smith/Brown and Fitzgerald/Thomason but unfortunately poor settings led to a slow final - Smith/Brown starting light and Fitzgerald/Thomason overheating and needing 3 comp adjustments.
